Οι κορυφαίοι οδηγοί του WRC πήραν μια πρώτη γεύση από τις Ειδικές Διαδρομές του αγώνα. Το πρόγραμμα αναγνωρίσεων της πρώτης ημέρας για τους οδηγούς πρώτης και δεύτερης προτεραιότητας, αποτελούνταν από 3 Ειδικές Διαδρομές (Άγιοι Θεόδωροι, Νέα Πίσσια, Αγία Μαρίνα).
Οι οδηγοί ήταν ικανοποιημένοι από τις Ειδικές Διαδρομές, οι οποίες ήταν γνωστές σε αυτούς από τα προηγούμενα χρόνια. Αξίζει να αναφέρουμε πως πέραν των 13 συμμετεχόντων στη κλάση WRC και των δυο οδηγών που εκπροσωπούν τη VW Motorsport στον αγώνα, στις αναγνωρίσεις συμμετέχει ακόμη ένας οδηγός της VW Motorsport, ο νεαρός Kevin Abbring.
